Hi Connor, thank you for joining us today at VQS Studio. Take us back in time to how you first fell in love with music.
I grew up surrounded by music, with two professional musicians for parents. While the sounds of their creations were a huge part of my childhood, I really fell in love with music when I started writing songs in early high school.
Over the years, I also had a knack for teaching, so I entered the world of education. All of my experiences in both music and education led me to launch my mentoring practice, where I help *hidden* musicians to write and release their first album or single.
What new projects are you working on now?
I now have a mentoring program where I help *hidden* musicians to write and release their first single or album. I work with those who have the talent and drive to release amazing music, but need the guidance and blueprint to make it happen. In just twelve weeks, my clients leave with FINISHED songs.
What core values do you believe are necessary for success?
I believe that the best education is through DOING. You can take all the classes in the world to try and accumulate all skills imaginable, but it’s not really until you get in the trenches that you really learn, and subsequently generate opportunities.
I also believe in the power of setting the RIGHT goal. If you can set the right goals and come up with the proper game plan, the only person who stands in the way of you not living a creative and musical life, is you.
