Hi, welcome to VQS, Tell us a little bit about you and your music. Hi, started playing in an alternative metal band ‘Signet’ with friends and we self-released our first album ‘Sirens’, but before finishing the second album, the band split and I moved on to producing solo, so a lot of my influence and experience comes from metal and similar heavy stuff.

Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this song? Thank you! Unsurprisingly, the main bass idea was basically an accident. I played around with the bass synth and forgot to turn off the arpeggiator and it sounded interesting, so then I layered a moody piano improvisation on top. All was played in my dark studio room and I think this is what affected the song’s atmosphere the most.
What is your vision for this song? What lessons would you like to impart with your audience? I guess it’s a rebellious song in a way. It was my way to reflect on what’s going on in the world and kind of express frustration and anger, but at the same time I believe it’s also good to keep calm and focused even in the darkest of times. That’s one of the reasons there is a monk on the cover.
What is your favorite part of the song? That should be the 2nd drop, really like the way Mick Gordon makes those fat, huge, in your face choruses, definitely inspired by that.
Anything else we should know about it? Future releases? Upcoming events? Currently working on a new release, hope to release it in a few months 🙂
