Creating a website is essential in starting to legitimize your brand and taking yourself to the next level, no matter what industry you’re in. Here’s our top 5 reasons you should create a website ASAP!

Many people have Instagram, Facebook or Twitter accounts, and if they are a creator or artist, they use these social media channels to bring awareness to their brand. 43% of people make the decision to trust the brand if they have a social media presence.
By creating a website, you are legitimizing your brand even more than if you had social media alone. Over 60% of people say that if a business has a website, they are more likely to trust the business or brand.
Creating a website is relatively easy to do, and is a great investment into yourself and your career. You can even use web hosting sites like WIX to assist you in creating. Put a gallery page on your website or add photos and videos throughout, after all, you should be proud of your accomplishments!
A website is also a great place to be able to put your opinions and to share your skills with the world. Post videos or audio files of your music, your photographs if you’re a photographer, your paintings if you’re a painter, your fashion designs if you are a designer – the possibilities really are endless!
4. Make a Profit

If you have a website, you can make money! You can sell your work (paintings, photographs, music, videos, etc.) through your online store. You can make merch like t-shirts, mugs, sweatshirts, etc. to sell on your website as well.
Another way to gain income from your website is by creating a blog. If your blogs get a lot of views, you will be able to feature ads on your blog and make some side money. Who doesn’t like a little extra cash in their pocket?
5. Connect With Your Audience

A website can also serve as a bridge from you to your audience. You can add a chat function to the site, to allow you to communicate with your visitors one-on-one in real time. Make sure you have a contact form/email subscription feature on your website as well, so your potential connections can reach out!
